What is the status of the 2026 Vancouver Boat Show?

Booth numbers, exhibitors, ticket links, specials, and distribution arrangements can change. Define the BC mission before choosing a hull

British Columbia conditions vary widely. A sheltered lake, an urban harbor, and an exposed coastal passage are not interchangeable. Select the craft and route conservatively and follow local restrictions.

Current Battle Boat and Battle Cat specifications

The Battle Boat has a traditional inflatable profile. The Battle Cat has a dual-pontoon deck layout. Both are fully inflatable, use 3.5 PSI tubes and 10 PSI floors, and list 15-inch transoms.

Salt residue can affect fabric, hardware, electrical connections, motors, and accessories. Follow the product instructions for freshwater rinsing, drying, inspection, corrosion protection, and storage. Keep sharp fishing tools, barnacles, rough docks, and abrasive beaches away from inflatable surfaces.

Cold water increases consequence even when the air is comfortable. Wear a properly fitted Canadian-approved lifejacket or PFD, carry required equipment, check forecasts and notices, and choose a route appropriate to the craft and crew. Transport Canada maintains current boating safety resources.

Do not charge or store a propulsion battery outside its manufacturer temperature limits. Battery chemistry, package, age, state of charge, and instructions matter.

Gas or electric for a BC portable boat?

Electric propulsion can suit owners who value quiet operation, removable energy, and no onboard gasoline. Gas can suit owners who prioritize rapid refueling and compatible service. Compare both as outboard systems, not as “outboard versus electric.”

Use a compatible short shaft for the 15-inch transom and remain within the exact motor ceiling. What owner feedback can and cannot confirm

The current Rover Marine warranty lists five years for eligible hull manufacturing defects, three years for tubes and seams, and two years for covered accessories. Third-party motors and batteries follow their manufacturers, and exclusions apply.
