Rover Marine at Vancouver Boat Show 2026 | Visit Booth 441

If you live in British Columbia, you know the drill. You buy a boat, and then the real headache begins: Where do you put it?

In Vancouver, moorage waitlists can span nearly a decade. Trailer parking in a condo building is often non-existent. And if you want to tow a boat to Tofino or the Shuswap, you’re looking at massive ferry fees or dangerous highway drives.

At Rover Marine, we believe boating shouldn't be this hard. That’s why we are bringing the "No Moorage Required" revolution to the Vancouver International Boat Show from January 14–18, 2026.

We are partnering with our exclusive Canadian distributor, Canadian Board Co., to take over Booth 441. Here is why this booth needs to be your first stop.

1. The Problem: The "Vancouver Squeeze"

The Pacific Northwest has the best cruising grounds in the world, but it also has the highest barriers to entry.

  • Moorage is impossible: Marinas from False Creek to Sidney have waitlists that are practically frozen.
  • Trailers are a hassle: Try backing a trailer into a tight spot at a crowded boat ramp on a Saturday, or paying the "over-height" surcharge on BC Ferries.
  • Condo Living: Most Vancouverites don't have a driveway for a 20-foot aluminum hull.

2. The Solution: The "Battle Boat" (Booth 441)

We built the Battle Boat to solve exactly these problems. By using military-grade drop-stitch PVC, we created a microskiff that performs like a hard hull but stores like a paddleboard.

For the Gulf Island Explorer

Imagine throwing your boat in the trunk of your Subaru, driving onto the ferry (standard fare!), and launching directly from a beach on Galiano or Salt Spring Island. No boat ramp required. The Battle Boat's shallow draft lets you access skinny water that fiberglass boats can't touch.

For the Yacht Owner

If you already have a cruiser moored at Mosquito Creek or Granville Island, you need a tender. Traditional RIBs are heavy and take up massive space on your swim grid. The Battle Boat is the ultimate tender—tough enough to run supplies, but light enough to lift by hand.

3. The "Back Porch" Upgrade: POP Board Co.

We are sharing the booth with our sister brand, POP Board Co., to solve another common problem: Deck Space.

Boats are getting smaller, but families are getting bigger. Instead of upgrading to a larger vessel (and paying higher moorage fees), you can simply extend your current footprint.

  • The Pop Up Dock: This is an 8x7 foot inflatable swim platform that ties to your stern. It creates a floating "back porch" for lounging, launching paddleboards, or just keeping the kids entertained.
  • The Yacht Hopper: If you want to paddle Howe Sound, you don't want a board that clutters your deck. This SUP packs down small enough to fit in a lazarette.

4. Why Buy at the Show? (The Canadian Advantage)

We hear it all the time from our Canadian followers: "I want a Battle Boat, but I don't want to deal with Customs."

That is why visiting Booth 441 is crucial. Because you are buying through Canadian Board Co., you get:

  • No Duties/Import Fees: The price you see is the price you pay. No surprises at the border.
  • Local Warranty Support: Service is handled right here in BC (Kelowna HQ), not overseas.
  • Show Specials: We are offering exclusive pricing for attendees of the Vancouver Boat Show.

Show Logistics

Come feel the rigidity of the drop-stitch construction for yourself. You need to knock on the hull to believe it's inflatable.
